Our Commitment

Capconvert, Inc. is committed to ensuring that capconvert.com is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe that every user deserves a seamless and inclusive experience, regardless of ability or the technology they use to access our website.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Accessibility Measures

Capconvert takes the following measures to ensure accessibility on our website:

  • Semantic HTML is used throughout capconvert.com to ensure proper document structure and compatibility with assistive technologies
  • All images include descriptive alternative text (ALT text) to convey meaning to screen reader users
  • Color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA minimum thresholds to ensure readability for users with low vision or color vision deficiencies
  • The website is navigable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse or trackpad
  • Interactive elements such as links, buttons, and form fields have visible focus indicators
  • Forms include properly associated labels and clear error messages
  • Page headings are structured in a logical hierarchy (H1 through H6) to facilitate navigation with screen readers
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality

Conformance Standard

Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This standard addresses the most common barriers for users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. The four guiding principles of WCAG require that web content be:

  • Perceivable — Information and user interface components must be presentable in ways that users can perceive
  • Operable — User interface components and navigation must be operable by all users
  • Understandable — Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable
  • Robust — Content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies

For more information about WCAG 2.1, visit the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Compatible Technologies

Capconvert.com is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Speech recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation

Our website is built to function across modern web browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Known Limitations

While we work to ensure capconvert.com meets WCAG 2.1 AA standards, some content may not yet fully conform. Known limitations include:

  • Some older blog posts may contain images without fully descriptive alternative text. We are actively auditing and updating these.
  • Third-party embedded content (such as video players or external widgets) may not fully meet accessibility standards, as they are controlled by their respective providers.
  • PDF documents linked from our website may not be fully accessible. We are working to provide accessible alternatives.

We are committed to addressing these limitations as they are identified and prioritized in our ongoing accessibility efforts.
